What We Do
The Cottages at Orchard 13 Homeowners Association, Inc. (CHOA) was established in 2021 by Plantation Orchard LP to provide comprehensive maintenance and common area management for our 32-cottage community built from 2022 to 2024 within Pecan Plantation in Hood County, Texas. Following a successful transition to homeowner management on July 1, 2026, we now operate under the governance and oversight of our community members. Our mission is to govern community operations, maintain shared spaces, and protect long-term property values through professional management and consistent enforcement of community standards.
As a member-driven organization, CHOA is committed to transparency, accountability, and fostering a vibrant community. We work in coordination with the Pecan Plantation Homeowners Association (PPOA) to ensure our governance meets the highest standards while maintaining the unique character of our cottages community. Our dedicated team handles all aspects of community administration, from financial management to architectural control, ensuring that The Cottages at Orchard 13 remains a desirable place to call home.
